JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the role is to prepare food items in any section of the kitchen assigned by the senior chefs and in accordance to standard recipes and company standards, and to ensure a good spirit and team work is maintained between all kitchen sections and with FOH team.


MAIN DUTIES:

  • Maintain mise en place levels to ensure smooth service flow, focusing on food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Pursue personal development to become proficient in all kitchen sections.
  • Verify incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage while minimizing wastage.
  • Conduct daily checks to uphold high hygiene standards in storage areas.
  • Ensure food products meet recipe standards and oversee the work of junior team members.
