JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the role is to assist senior kitchen team in preparation of the dishes according to the company standards and support junior kitchen team members while running efficient food preparation and service delivery.


MAIN DUTIES:

  • Maintain mise en place levels to ensure uninterrupted food flow during service, focusing on quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Pursue personal development to master all sections of the kitchen.
  • Verify incoming goods for quality, ensuring accurate storage and monitoring wastage.
  • Ensure food preparation aligns with recipes and oversee the work of junior team members.
  • Support and train new commis and demi chefs, fostering their development and ensuring smooth onboarding.
