With your expertise and leadership, you’ll help drive the seamless operation of a world-class kitchen.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrate expertise across all kitchen sections, ensuring effective team utilization and adaptability in all areas
  • Prepare all sections for meal service, maintaining Zuma’s signature creativity, flair, and uncompromising quality standards
  • Monitor the quality of dishes during preparation and presentation, ensuring they consistently meet high culinary expectations
  • Oversee food ordering, receiving, and inventory control to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and manage costs effectively
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and food safety regulations, including proper food storage and handling practices
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, providing constructive feedback and development opportunities while managing schedules for optimal shift coverage
