As an Assistant General Manager at Zuma, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring seamless restaurant operations. With your leadership and organizational skills, you’ll support the team in maintaining our impeccable standards and fostering the growth of our teams. You will work towards delivering outstanding results that align with the growth of our global collection.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and seamless coordination across all departments
  • Support and manage team members to uphold food service standards and address operational needs effectively
  • Partner with the General Manager to manage P&L and wage costs, driving efficiency and profitability
  • Conduct daily briefings to keep managers and team members informed, motivated, and aligned with goals
  • Train, mentor, and develop the team, providing constructive feedback and overseeing growth plans
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards while fostering a culture of learning and positivity
