As an Assistant Reservations Manager at Zuma, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing reservations efficiently and professionally. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations, reflecting Zuma’s commitment to excellence.

This role will be based in our Zuma office in Athens.

 Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. Featuring a sleek infinity pool, lounge, restaurant, and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment, making it the dining destination in Mykonos.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  •   Manage customer calls efficiently to maximize capacity and guest experience, amending bookings, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and care
  • Recognize and accommodate regular guests and VIPs, monitor waiting lists, and maximize seating capacity to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the reservations system to efficiently confirm, cancel, and adjust bookings as required
  • Coordinating with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth seating and flow of service
  • Actively work closely with the Reservations Manager to ensure seamless coordination and assisting in overseeing the reservations team, ensuring high standards of communication and service
  • Training and supporting the reservations team to maintain Zuma’s exceptional guest experience

  • Previous experience in a reservations or front-of-house role, ideally in a high-volume, luxury hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using reservation systems (such as SevenRooms)
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • A natural team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
