As a Demi Chef de Partie at Zuma, you’ll help create amazing dining experiences for our guests. You’re passionate about cooking, love working as part of a team, and always aim for excellence. In this role, you’ll support the kitchen team, learn new skills, and keep growing your culinary talent.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Actively develop your skills to become proficient in all kitchen sections, under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste
  • Conduct daily checks of storage areas and maintain high hygiene standards to meet Zuma’s rigorous expectations
  • Prepare food products in line with recipes, ensuring precision and high standards while overseeing the work of junior team members
  • Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
