Be part of the buzz – join the grand opening team at Experience Zuzu, Nashville’s newest dining destination in the heart of Nashville!

We’re seeking passionate, service-driven Servers to help create unforgettable experiences for every guest. As part of The Elia Group, you’ll play a key role in launching this exciting new concept and setting the tone for excellence from day one.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
  • Select fresh fruits and vegetables to make high-quality dishes (like avocado, mango and carrots)
  • Add additional flavors to sushi rolls with ginger, rice vinegar, wasabi and soy sauce, when appropriate
  • Manage food prep activities, like boiling rice
  • Prepare exceptional meals according to standard recipes and venue specifications.
  • Prepare, arrange, and plate dishes per the current menu.
  • Adhere to culinary standards and regulations.
  • Function as a supportive team member during their shift.
  • Track, record and replenish inventory as needed and in accordance with established par levels.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and sequence of service standards.
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift.
  • Comply with all safety and health procedures as well as company and departmental policies and procedures.

Skills Needed to Succeed:

  • Fine Dining experience required
  • Experience with crafting Sushi cuisine
  • Proven ability to work as a team, stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize
  • Understand various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Familiar with industry best practices
  • ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate required
