 Events Captain – Experience Zuzu (Nashville Grand Opening)

Experience Zuzu is launching this summer in Nashville, and we’re looking for an organized, service-driven Events Captain to join our opening team! In this role, you’ll lead the execution of private events, ensuring every detail runs smoothly and every guest enjoys a top-tier experience. If you’re passionate about hospitality, have a sharp eye for detail, and love working in a fast-paced environment, Zuzu is the place to grow your career from the very beginning.

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Provide onsite event coordination, ensuring all details are communicated to staff and the kitchen while maintaining guest satisfaction. 

  • Respond to inquiries from potential clients via phone and online leads, providing timely follow-ups. 

  • Prepare and send event proposals, review menu package options, and manage contracts, ensuring all necessary approvals. 

  • Review and update event menus to meet client needs. 

  • Represent the restaurant at offsite events and networking opportunities. 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout event execution. 

  • Assist the Director of Events and Event Manager with event planning and logistics. 

  • Generate and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and compile reports. 

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities. 

  • Perform administrative and other related tasks as needed.

Your success with us requires these qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

  • 21+ years of age.  

  • Sales, promotion and event experience preferred.  

  • Must be self-motivated and guest focused. 

  • Excellent organizational/time management skills. 

  • Results driven and able to meet deadlines. 

  • Familiar with touch screen POS systems including backend reports.

 

Competitive Salary and Great Benefits 

At ELIA, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is also eligible to receive commission.

This is a full-time position working in a restaurant environment. Work hours may vary dependent upon events and business need. Work is primarily conducted in F&B venue settings.

This is primarily an office role that requires you to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time although standing in, and moving between, work areas may be requiredYou will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productively machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer, for a significant part of each day. This role frequently requires you to move around our office or our other propertiesThis role occasionally requires the ability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. You will also need to be able to operate a motor vehicle to visit various properties and meeting sites and communicate effectively in person, before groups, and over the telephone.
