Job Summary

The Drink Runner is a key member of the front-of-house team, ensuring the timely, accurate, and polished delivery of cocktails and beverages from the bar to guests. This role supports both bartenders and servers to maintain the pace, presentation, and energy of service while delivering the elevated hospitality standard that defines Elia Group restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver cocktails, beverages, and wines by the glass promptly and accurately, using correct seat numbers and verbiage.

· Ensure each drink meets presentation and garnish standards before delivery.

· Maintain active communication with bartenders and servers to support seamless service flow.

· Assist with pre-shift setup of the cocktail service station (stocking garnishes, glassware, ice, and mixers).

· Support VIP bottle service setups and ensure all tools and garnishes are prepped for high-level service.

· Maintain a polished, professional appearance and uphold the pace, tone, and rhythm of the dining room.

· Possess strong knowledge of the cocktail menu, ingredients, and features; confidently describe drinks to guests.

· Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and uphold safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

· Prior experience in upscale dining or high-volume cocktail service preferred.

· Strong communication and multitasking skills.

· Ability to memorize table layouts and maintain awareness during busy service periods.

· Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

· Polished, professional demeanor aligned with Elia Group’s service standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Valid driver’s license and proven ability to safely operate light vehicles, such as golf carts. 

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a hospitality or event setting preferred. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long periods. 

  • Willingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions. 

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously. 

  • Team player with good communication skills.

  • Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach in order to perform various tasks throughout the facility.

  • Tolerating Heat and Cold: Comfort working in various environments, including outdoor or non-climate-controlled areas, especially when moving between buildings or loading/unloading items.
