Description

   To ensure a consistent high standard of performance which demonstrates good teamwork, effective communication, consistent positive results and continuous improvement.  Interact with customers in a professional, friendly and confident manner.  Develop a close working relationship with all departments, colleagues and managers promoting teamwork within the department and the hotel.  Ensure all guest expectations are exceeded.  Develop relationships with regular guests to maximise sales opportunities and generate future business.  Ensure all regular guests are welcomed and acknowledged.  Achieve excellent customer satisfaction while achieving targets set by the company. Ensure that you are committed to putting the guest first and that company brand standards are used at all times.  Consistently deliver exceptional standards of service which exceed customer expectations, using standards and order of service documents.  Know of all Company concepts and ensure that this is shared with the guest.  Understand the importance of attention to detail and product knowledge.  Work to the standard operational procedures at all times.  All customer feedback positive and negative is communicated to the Manager.  Attend training as requested, implement techniques and communicate the knowledge gained to the department.  Produce exceptional classical and modern innovative cocktails to Company standards.  Ensure all mis en place as per check lists is carried out prior to service, starting and when closing the bar.  Ensure you understand the financial aspect of the bar and assist in meeting profit targets.  Consistently upsell the hotel during all guest interactions where appropriate and provide as much information as possible in order to exceed profits of the hotel.  Anticipate customer needs and drive sales through extensive knowledge of the Bar offerings.  Ensure that all revenues billed are accurate.  Follow cash handling procedures and ensure all discrepancies are reported to your Manager.  Assist in and serve guests food and drink in the restaurant as required, including taking orders and any other necessary tasks.
