About the Role
Absolute Taste is looking for a talented Assistant Catering Manager to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of our retail food truck unit. This hands-on role focuses on front-of-house (FOH) operations, team leadership, and client engagement—with the ultimate goal of delivering outstanding food and service experiences onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all FOH operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
Support sales and profitability through cost control, upselling strategies, and promotions.
Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth coordination between FOH and culinary teams.
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture through coaching, training, and development.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Collaborate with clients to coordinate on-site activations that increase engagement and drive revenue.
Work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver catering solutions for business and client lunches—growing our footprint and exceeding expectations.
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food truck operations.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
A customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
