About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team, leading the delivery of exceptional live events.

This role will see you act as a senior operational lead, ensuring the seamless execution of large-scale, high-profile events, while managing complex logistics, suppliers, and multi-agency coordination.

You’ll oversee everything from pre-event planning to post-event analysis, ensuring that our events meet the highest standards in safety, performance, and sustainability. You’ll be responsible for managing key procurement processes, developing operational procedures, and supporting team performance across the board. With a focus on collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Absolute Taste’s ongoing growth and reputation as a leader in the industry.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
Location: Office-based, with some time spent on site at Events as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the Event Logistics Manager:

Pre-Event:

• Ensure all service provisions (water, waste, power, etc.) are in place and liaise with suppliers to coordinate logistics for international events.
• Identify efficiencies in equipment utilisation to reduce rental costs.

On Event:

• Lead detailed briefings for event teams and oversee event setups to ensure a 1st class standard of delivery.
• Maintain communication with on-site teams to resolve issues swiftly.

Post Event:

• Oversee breakdowns, ensuring the site is left clean and compliant with event regulations.
• Contribute to post-event debriefs and share insights to improve future projects.

What We Are Looking For:

• Significant experience in managing large-scale events, ideally in catering, cultural, and sporting sectors.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance in high-pressure environments.
• Proven experience in procurement, financial reporting, and risk management.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to use AI-powered tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience with risk assessment and mitigation.
