Office Cleaner | The Hangar, Watergate Bay Hotel
We’re here to share the joy of Watergate Bay for everyone, now and for the future.
That means doing everything we can to make sure our team, guests and planet stay happy through the moments we create and the impact we have.
Through proper hospitality, active relaxation and thoughtful experiences, we create the time and space for guests and teams to feel their best. Everything we do is rooted in warmth, confidence and care — with sustainability and community firmly at our heart.
Dedicated, loyal guests who love what we do. A committed team with a shared outlook. An attention to detail that pushes us to excel. A deep, instinctive care for the environment around us. It’s what sets Watergate Bay apart from other hotels and drives us to find extraordinary talent to join us.
Great workplaces don’t maintain themselves. They’re shaped by people who care about the details, take pride in their surroundings, and understand the impact a clean, welcoming environment has on everyone who walks through the door. At The Hangar, our cleaning team plays a vital role in bringing this experience to life each day.
Our Office Cleaner role:
We’re looking for an independent, lively, and attentive Office Cleaner to join our welcoming Central team at The Hangar. You’ll be working on a zero-hour contract, with an average commitment of 9 hours per week.
Initially, the role will be Monday to Friday to cover maternity leave, before reducing to three days per week. The working hours are 5:00–8:00 p.m., with some flexibility around the hours, although the working days will be fixed once the role transitions to three days per week.
You’ll take real satisfaction in creating welcoming spaces, and be part of a supportive, dedicated team that values high standards and exceptional service, working together to make a positive difference behind the scenes.
Ideally, you'll have experience cleaning a large office building and be confident managing your workload effectively within a three-hour timeframe. You should also be comfortable working independently, particularly during the winter months when the location can feel quite isolated.
If you enjoy taking ownership of your work and thrive on flexibility, this role offers the opportunity to manage your responsibilities with autonomy while contributing to a workplace everyone can feel proud of.
What you’ll be responsible for:
What you’ll be sharing with us:
Why us?
Watergate Bay is a place for connection, for freedom, for everyone. Join the team and you’ll be working on the shoreline of the Atlantic, where the ocean and its draw is a daily inspiration.
Every decision we make, every moment we create, is rooted in warmth, confidence, and care. We champion practices that protect our environment, support our people, and leave a positive mark for the future. Sustainability isn’t just an ambition—it’s at the heart of everything we do.
What we can offer in return:
Our commitment to our staff is reflected in our exceptional working environment – one that promotes work-life balance, professional development, and a positive culture where everyone is heard and supported, always.
Working at Watergate Bay Hotel isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to help create something that really matters. Now and for generations to come.
