What You'll Do 

  • Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station 

  • Follow directions from the Executive Chef and Lead Cooks 

  • Adhere to all kitchen policies, procedures, and food safety/sanitation guidelines 

  • Assist with prep work and ingredient deliveries 

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of dishes 

  • Maintain open communication with restaurant servers and managers 

  • Support the culinary team in preparing for high-volume service 

 

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years' experience as a sushi cook

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation 

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills 

  • Ability to follow instructions and multi-task 

  • Ability to spend long periods on your feet and lift 50lbs.  

  • Passion for food preparation and providing excellent guest service
