What You’ll Do
Oversee banquet services throughout the hotel
Regularly communicates and collaborates with our internal Events team and clients to execute unique and memorable events
Willingness to learn and accommodate changes in the industry
Professional, yet comfortable with candid & open to and acting upon feedback – all with the guest and employee experience top of mind
Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, and planning
Able to read and comprehend weekly Banquet Events Orders
Ensure product quality and event space cleanliness
Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
Manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
Coach, lead and develop team
Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in a previous leadership position in luxury hotel banquets
An open, curious mind with a desire to deliver a tailored guest experience with a hospitality every time mindset
Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the hotel through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and the restaurant teams
Willingness to learn and accommodate changes in the industry
Strong ability to analyze data, product inventory, and control of costs
A get-it-done approach and an entrepreneurial spirit
Professional, yet comfortable with candid and open to and acting upon feedback – all with the guest and employee experience top of mind
Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail
Highly responsive and collaborative, a team player who approaches work without ego
