The Global Ambassador Hotel is a Michelin Key luxury destination in Phoenix, known for redefining urban hospitality. What You’ll Do  

  • Provide on-site technical support to hotel staff and guests for hardware, software, network, and telecom-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent user experience. 

  • Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets, escalations, and service requests in a timely manner. 

  • Ensure regular software updates, patches, and security updates are applied to maintain system security and performance. 

  • Assist in managing and troubleshooting the hotel's network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, wired network, guest access, etc.). 

  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal connectivity for staff, guests, and business operations. 

  • Ensure guest-facing tech is fully functional, user-friendly, and meets the high standards expected at a luxury hotel. 

  • Work with the Director of IT to ensure the hotel complies with local and international data protection and IT security regulations. 

  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and IT-related services. 

  • Maintain detailed documentation of the hotel’s IT systems, processes, and inventory of hardware and software. 

  • Provide regular reports on IT system performance, incidents, and ongoing projects to the Director of IT. 


Qualifications 

  • Experience in an IT support or coordination role within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry. 
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). 
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques. 

  • Proficient with various hotel technology platforms and systems, including property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, and guest Wi-Fi management. 

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), and enterprise-level applications. 

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service in a high-pressure, luxury environment. 

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. 

  • Knowledge of IT security practices, data protection policies, and compliance regulations is a plus. 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (e.g., equipment, hardware).
