2+ years of luxury dining room and/or wine experience is required to apply.
Lead by Wine Director, Jonathan Ross MS and Head Sommelier, Laura Bruno, The Global Ambassador Hotel offers an exciting, market-leading beverage program; with wine being a main pillar of the guest experience.
Curate and maintain an engaging wine list in collaboration with the chefs and management team
Offer thoughtful food and wine pairing recommendations that elevate the guest’s dining experience
Educate and guide guests through the wine selection, sharing knowledge about varietals, regions, and styles
Ensure the wine cellar is properly stocked, organized, and managed to support service needs
Train and support wait staff by sharing wine knowledge and pairing insights
Plan and host wine tastings and special events to enhance guest engagement and brand experience
Uphold all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Stay current on wine trends, regions, and winemaking techniques to continually enhance offerings
Sommeliers at the Global Ambassador will have a unique opportunity to strengthen their abilities across this one-of-a-kind multi-concept wine offering. Operating at the highest level, members of the team will flex between multiple restaurants, accelerating learning opportunities and developing leadership skills.
