What You’ll Do  

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture. 

  • Oversee all aspects of the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a welcoming and engaging experience. 

  • Partner with department leaders to support successful integration of new team members. 

  • Partner with our Recruiting Manager for specific recruiting needs 

  • Coordinate employee benefit outreach to educate employees on how to best use the plans 

  • Lead employee recognition programs that celebrate achievements, service milestones, and company values. 

  • Partner with our Training Manager to identify training needs and assist with training/learning opportunities. 

  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 

  • Manage all aspects of workers' compensation claims from initial reporting through claim closure. 

  • Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and applicable state leave laws. 

  • Assist with HR audits and reporting requirements. 

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records. 

 

Who You Are 

  • 2+ years HR generalist experience in hospitality  

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.  

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  

  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.  

  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.  

  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
