What You’ll Do   

  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiting manager to coordinate interviews for desginated hourly postions.  

  • Welcome and assist candidates during in-person interviews by greeting candidates upon arrival and coordinating with the appropriate department or hiring manager to ensure they are escorted to the interview location. 

  • Coordinate in-person walk-ins and application drop-offs, providing candidates with a positive and professional first point of contact. 

  • Create, prepare, and route hourly offer letters for assigned requisitions through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 

  • Review and pre-screen hourly candidates for Author & Edit brands, helping identify qualified candidates and move them through the recruiting process efficiently. 

  • Support the Recruiting Manager with candidate communication and follow-up, including responding to candidate questions and providing updates regarding interview and application status. 

  • Monitor open positions, candidate activity, interview progress, offers, and employee referrals to ensure recruiting processes remain organized and on track. 

  • Support in-person new-hire onboarding activities, helping ensure new employees have a welcoming and organized first-day experience and receive the appropriate information and resources. 

  • Collect and review appropriate I-9 documentation in accordance with company requirements. 

  • Maintain and track the internal employee referral program, ensuring referrals are properly documented and followed through the recruiting process. 

  • Partner closely with the Recruiting Manager and R&R team to coordinate, plan, and execute hiring events and other recruiting initiatives. 

  • Travel to new opening locations as needed to provide recruiting support, assist with hiring initiatives, and help meet staffing needs during new openings, high-volume hiring periods, and other business needs. 

  • Partner with HR team at university and college career fairs, networking with students and prospective candidates to build talent pipelines. 

  • Assist with intern programs and activities, including scheduling, onboarding support, communication, engagement activities, and serving as a point of contact for interns throughout their programs. 

  • Provide additional administrative and recruiting support as needed to meet business and staffing needs. 

 

Qualifications 

  • At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, application screening, candidate sourcing, or full-cycle recruiting. 

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred. 

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting or HR systems. 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, candidates, and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers. 

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the HR team. 

  • Professional, approachable, and candidate-focused with a strong commitment to providing an excellent candidate experience.
