Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. You will be the face of our bar, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests to provide a memorable dining experience, and supporting our floor staff to ensure seamless service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and balances efficiency with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established standard recipes and guest preferences.
  • Guest Engagement: Greet patrons warmly, provide detailed menu recommendations, and use upselling techniques to increase revenue.
  • Service Coordination: Take food and drink orders via Toast, manage open tabs, and coordinate with waitstaff to fulfill orders for the dining room.
  • Safety & Compliance: Strictly enforce alcohol laws by verifying legal drinking age and monitoring consumption to ensure responsible service.
  • Bar Operations: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, prep garnishes, and manage inventory levels to ensure the bar is fully stocked for every shift.
  • Financial Integrity: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and perform opening/closing duties, including tips.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or similar environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine pairing, and craft beer trends.
  • Certifications: Current alcohol server certification (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol) is typically required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long shifts (6–8+ hours) and lift heavy items such as kegs or cases (up to 50 lbs).
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
