For over twenty years, the Alicart Restaurant Group family of restaurants has been offering an exciting and unique spectrum of dining concepts. The legendary Carmine's Family Style Italian restaurant--with locations in New York City's Theater District, Upper West Side, the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City; Washington DC, Penn Quarter, Atlantis Resort & Casino in the Bahamas, and now open in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas -- serves exceptional Southern Italian cuisine in abundant portions designed for sharing. Our other specialty restaurant is Virgil's Real BBQ, New York City, Atlantis Resort & Casino in the Bahamas.
The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Manager/Director. The successful candidate, under the direction of the Marketing Director, will be responsible for communicating and executing marketing plans, monitoring budgetary spends, developing promotions, leading regional restaurant initiatives, and writing, posting and scheduling social media updates.
• Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties for the marketing department.
• Draft and with guidance, execute unique, comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns for all company restaurants.
• Coordinate and execute creative and strategic social media marketing campaigns across all platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter that engage guests.
• Coordinate and oversee all local design needs with graphic designer to create impactful marketing materials.
• Proof design of all print ads/flyers/posters for accuracy.
• Maintain multiple internal databases.
• Accounts payable (check all invoices against show files and code for payment).
• Manages the social media marketing strategy for company restaurants focusing on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube.
• Execution of all social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach.
• Communicating in a professional, but unique social media "voice" for each concept that is directly aligned with the company's thought leadership and content platform.
• Tweeting while engaging influencers to increase followership, social media profiles, receiving multiple mentions and retweets in the process.
• Posting several Facebook posts each day and finding new ways to leverage Facebook for professional and business purposes.
• Building a strong presence on Google+, making the most of SEO.
• Implementing Social Media SEO tactics aligned with company keywords and SEO strategies.
• Working within Hootsuite, Optify,SEOMoz, FollwerWonk and other social media tools
• Writing one blog post a month about Alicart's blog.
• Manage email marketing program, corporate website maintenance and search marketing (SEM + SEO) efforts.
• Maintain marketing calendar.
• Conduct competitive analysis studies.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings is required (as dictated by the needs of the business).
• Adhere to all confidentiality requirements for corporate, strategic, and marketing information.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience (internships are OK) in marketing, PR or social media.
• Excellent writing and editing skills (must provide samples).
• Excellent organization and project management skills: able to schedule and lead large, long-term projects involving multiple moving parts.
• A genuine passion for digital marketing and social media.
• A desire to learn and ultimately grasp several facets of the digital landscape, including search engine marketing/SEO, social media, SEM, mobile marketing and more.
• Digital community management skills (Twitter, Facebook,, Instagram, G+, etc.)
• Basic email marketing and HTML skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong computer sills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
