L94 Engineer Job Description:
The engineer on duty is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance of all related building mechanical equipment, and its related MER. This position requires the ability to meet the challenges and physical demands of the job. Provide support to the chief engineer and assistant chief engineer. Adhering to all work assignments and preventive maintenance schedules as directed by the assistant chief engineer. Adhere to a safety rule and exercise all code of conduct standards.
General Responsibilities
Building knowledge of preventive maintenance in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Conduct building rounds. Utilize Building EMS rounds trough Log Check system.
Ability to understand, usage of monitoring BMS / EMS points, to all HVAC space and
equipment adjustments.
Basic Blueprint reading
Maintain shift building log entries.
Transparency in communicating, all mechanical related information to chief or chief
assistant chief, and their shift relief engineer.
Assist contractors & venders as required.
Adhere to all PPE standards.
Maintain all mechanical equipment and spaces in a clean and safely condition.
Able to work independently when called up on.
Adhere to all standard operating procedures and code of conduct.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma / GED prefer.
Basic computer literacy
Prior Mechanical experience
Q01 refrigeration license.
S12 / S13 City Sprinkler. Physical Requirements
Utilize a 10’ ladder.
Available to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and overtime
Lift at least 50 lbs.
