The Marketing Manager partners in the development of relevant and on trend marketing programming with a focus on all aspects of Traditional, Social, and Digital Media. Supports all communication efforts, digital/social media, inbound marketing, and messaging as well as positioning to promote the Company’s proficiencies, tactics, and strategic vision. They are the point of contact with the Creative and Branding Agency, and coordinates projects with them. The Marketing Manager will conduct research for new and existing markets, competitor analysis, and targeted clientele. Must have the ability to create, edit, add, and format page layouts of various marketing materials. Manage a wide variety of marketing projects, requiring graphic design skills digital and social media proficiencies. This person is a brand representative that maintains a patient and positive attitude. They hold the team accountable for top tier results and are passionate about food, beverage and hospitality. The Marketing Manager works with pride and must have a tremendous work ethic that sets the tone for the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Works as a Brand Manager coordinating development, design, implementation and execution of all brand and marketing initiatives • Manage, update, and monitor all online presences including our Company websites, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Various Social Media sites, third party booking sites, and AdWords campaigns. • Develops social media campaigns and calendars • Develops and manages menu briefs for the creative agency • Manages relationship with branding and creative agency and coordinates projects, deadlines, updates, etc. • Design program experience, i.e. InDesign, Publisher, Illustrator, etc, in both print and digital applications • Develop cover art for brochures, advertisements, events, stationary, and other related marketing material • Develop/design marketing materials, graphics, presentations, illustrations, exhibits, logos, taglines, banners, signs, brochures, billboards, and newsletters • Photography and basic photo editing skills • Perform proofing, editing and document design/layout • Conduct research in new/emerging markets, competitor analysis, and inbound marketing • Administration of direct mail, email, and various marketing campaigns • Coordinating and participating in PR events, in partnership with the PR agency • Researches and maintains emerging social media and marketing tactics, and is out in front of all trends • Engaged in ongoing restaurant operations and documenting for real time, and future social media postings • Develops and manages menu briefs for the creative agency • Create and maintain database of client and agency profiles, events, inquiries, and social media content • Coordinates print jobs such as menus, fliers, and various marketing assets • Manages and updates the marketing budget and invoices • Provide administrative support to the Director of Marketing and Director of Operations
ABILITY TO: • Bring creative ideas to build sales and overall brand awareness • Use a creative mindset and stay ahead of the trend • Multi-task and have a great sense of urgency with changing priorities • Works multiple concurrent projects to meet absolute deadlines • Effectively communicate with all levels and individuals within the organization • Work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Prioritizes projects and solicitates direction when necessary • Take quality pictures • Attend all events to gather content for real time and future postings • Recognizes premium aesthetics • Maintain a professional and polished appearance • Follow company budgets and established goals • Succeed in a fast pace environment • Work nights and weekends • Work 12+ hours shifts as necessary • Occasional travel required for meetings, PR events, and agency commitments
EDUCATION AND SKILLS: • BA/BS Degree, preferably in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field • 2 years’ experience in agency or restaurant marketing with experience in graphic design and/or production • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe CS (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and other graphicsrelated software. • SEO, AdWords, and website management proficiencies are preferred, but not required. • Expert on all social media platforms • Graphic editing skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States
