Join our Absolute Taste Inflight team, where we provide catering and concierge services for private jets at various airports across the Midlands and South of England. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, our Private Aviation Team delivers exceptional fine dining experiences to private jets.

 

We are seeking a dedicated Night Quality Control Assistant to join our busy QC packing team in our state-of-the-art headquarters in Bicester. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our food meets the highest standards before it reaches our elite clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Restocking:  Ensure kitchen and QC packaging areas are fully stocked for the next day’s operations.

Preparation:  Prepare fresh juices and smoothies according to specific order requirements for flights.

Quality Control:  Ensure all food meets the highest standards, is plated in the correct packaging, and presented per specifications, with special attention to allergens and dietary restrictions.

Stock Management:  Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team regarding daily used items like milk, bread, and fruit.

Hygiene:  Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all working areas at all times, adhering to PPE requirements.

Time Management:  Ensure all food is packed on time for the driver to meet delivery schedules.

 

About the Role:

As our Night Quality Control Lead, you will:

Conduct final checks on all food items, ensuring correct packaging per job sheets.

Plate and prepare food items as needed.

Oversee the safe packaging of food for transit to airports.

Manage and lead a team of 3 Night Quality Control Packers.

Analyse food quality and feedback, and develop action plans with the Head Chef.

Support inflight deliveries to airports during quieter periods.

 

5 days per week, 40 hour contract  

 

Requirements:

 Strong understanding of food and allergens, ideally at a sous chef level.

Excellent attention to detail and understanding of quality control processes.

Valid UK Driving License.

Flexibility and reliability are essential.
