Key responsibilities

Lead daily kitchen operations for both rail and private jet in-flight catering contracts

Manage and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional food consistently

Ensure food quality, presentation and safety are always top-notch

Oversee staffing, rotas, training, and development

Control stock management, food procurement, and minimise wastage

Collaborate with the Executive Chef to enhance the Absolute Taste Travel offering
What we’re looking for

Experienced Head Chef with strong leadership and organisational skills

Background in high-end, high-volume catering environments

Creative, hands-on, and committed to exceptional standards

Excellent communication skills and team management experience

Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
-
Rail or aviation catering experience is a bonus
