Wykham Park Farm Shop is a vibrant, Locally focused farm shop that celebrates fresh, seasonal produce and rustic homemade food. We pride ourselves on offering customers hearty, comforting meals made from scratch with ingredients sourced from iur own farm and trusted local suppliers.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Home-Style Cook to join our farm shop kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a love for wholesome, traditional cooking and enjoy preparing meals that feel like they've come straight from the family table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of home-style dishes including pies, soups, baked goods and seasonal specials.
- Follow and develop recipes often using fresh, local ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen environment, following all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimising food waste
- Engage with customers when required, offering friendly, knowledgeable service
Requirements:
- Proven experience in similar cooking role, preferably in a cafe, deli or farm shop environment
- Passion for traditional, homemade food and seasonal ingredients
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently or as part of a small team
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
