Description
Bar Supervisor - Bao Fitzrovia

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to join the team at Bao Fitzrovia.

Having opened in 2016, BAO Fitzrovia has a familiar yet expanded menu compared with its sister restaurant in Soho. Its menu comprises of a selection of baos, sharing plates and rice dishes.

The ground floor features large glass windows adjacent to a u-shaped wooden dining bar, and a lower ground floor containing an expansive open kitchen with additional seating.

The successful Bar Supervisor will receive
• 50% off dining across JKS Restaurants
• 28 days’ holiday per year
• Discounts on kitchenware, bicycles, gym memberships and fashion

• Employee of the Month
• Long Service awards, including prizes such as Eurostar tickets, and additional paid days off

As Bar Supervisor, you be responsible for providing a warm and genuine welcome to our guests, delivering an exceptional standard of service and memorable customer experience, and you will continually lead and inspire the front of house team to do the same.

If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:
• Prior experience as a Bar Tender, Head Bartender or Bar Supervisor Supervisor within a quality, high volume restaurant;
• Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team;
• Willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
• A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
• Passion for about food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
• The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group;
• Good knowledge of or experience in Asian cuisine and culture is a bonus!

What you’ll learn
• You’ll receive a personalised development plan including a clear progression route. We value internal growth and see this an important aspect;
• You’ll automatically be enrolled into BAO School where we hold creative workshops, such as Butchery and Fish Filleting classes, and hold talks with experts in the industry and other fields specially designed for staff;
• We encourage staff to participate in BAO’s field trips, learning and interacting with our suppliers;
• You’ll experience other restaurants within the group with organised swaps.
