Director of Service
Bastion Collection is seeking an experienced Service Director to oversee and elevate service standards, guest experience, food quality, and restaurant upkeep across our portfolio of high-end dining concepts. This role is critical in preserving the excellence, consistency, and refinement expected of a luxury hospitality group.

The Service Director will be a visible leader with a deep understanding of fine-dining service, an exceptional eye for detail, and a natural ability to build and cultivate meaningful relationships with guests, teams, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Service Standards & Guest Experience

  • Establish, implement, and continuously refine Bastion Collection service standards across all properties
  • Lead by example on the floor to ensure flawless, personalized, and anticipatory guest experiences
  • Oversee service training programs and reinforce consistency in execution across FOH teams
  • Address guest feedback proactively and turn challenges into opportunities for relationship building

Food Quality Oversight

  • Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure food quality, presentation, and timing consistently meet Bastion Collection expectations
  • Monitor guest feedback related to food and service, ensuring alignment between kitchen and front-of-house operations

Restaurant Maintenance & Presentation

  • Maintain oversight of overall restaurant condition, cleanliness, and aesthetic presentation
  • Ensure all spaces reflect World-class standards at all times, from dining rooms to guest-facing facilities
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to address repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance

Relationship Building & Brand Representation

  • Build, cultivate, and sustain long-term relationships with VIP guests, repeat clientele, and key partners
  • Represent Bastion Collection with professionalism, discretion, and confidence in all guest interactions
  • Support events, private dining, and special activations that reinforce guest loyalty and brand reputation

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and coach management teams with a focus on service excellence and accountability
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, culinary, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure alignment with Bastion Collection objectives
  • Support openings, transitions, and strategic initiatives as needed across the portfolio

Key skills and qualifications

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience in a food service management role
  • Proficiency with relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, Toast, Craftable
