The Role:
As our Bar Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the action, responsible for driving the bar’s standards, ensuring top-notch service during busy shifts, and managing stock and data to optimize operations. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring they’re motivated, trained, and operating at their best while maintaining a fun, supportive, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Instill positive reinforcement, coach your team to continuously improve, and lead by example in both service and attitude. Ensure staff are trained and confident to handle busy periods with exceptional service.

• Operational Excellence: Drive standards across the bar, ensuring everything from customer service to stock control is top notch, even during the busiest of times.

• Stock Management: Oversee stock takes, maintain inventory control, and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize margins.

• Performance Reporting: Report directly to senior managers on strategies to improve bar operations, workflow, and customer satisfaction. Regularly track and report on performance data, including financial and stock data.

• Maintaining a Fast-Paced Service: Lead your team through busy shifts, ensuring everything runs smoothly, with high energy and attention to detail.

• Sustainability & Growth: Work with the management team to develop strategies to capitalize on the huge potential during peak seasons, particularly during the summer.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced bar environment, ideally in a managerial role.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks at once.

• A strong understanding of stock control, budgeting, and bar data.

• Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
