Primary Responsibilities:
As a General Manager for Benihana Express, you are responsible for everything that happens inside your four walls: sales growth, profitability, food and beverage quality, speed of service, team development and guest satisfaction.
You will lead a team of 15-25 employees across all shifts and manage a $1.2 to 2.2M annual business and serve as the face of Benihana Express in your community.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will spend time on the line/cashier during peak periods, coach your team in real-time, solve problems as they arise, and set the standard for excellence every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Leadership
· Maintain speed-of-service standards: 3–5-minute ticket times with consistent and accurate orders.
· Uphold THE ONE GROUP’s world-class service and hospitality standards
Team Development & Staffing
Financial & Business Performance
What We’re Looking For:
· Two (2) to three (3) years of fast-casual/QSR restaurant management experience or one year as a Benihana manager with good performance and positive results.
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
· Proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
· Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) and POS Systems.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license where applicable.
· Must be eligible to work in the United States.
