Description
Bluebird is one of Chelsea’s favourite destinations, steeped in history and with striking art deco design, offering guests a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of King’s Road. An all-day dining destination and multi-faceted venue, offering everything from the relaxed courtyard and café, to the refined award-winning restaurant and bar. The Grade II listed building, originally designed by Robert Sharp in 1923 as the Bluebird Motor Garage, is now iconic in the restaurant scene celebrated as Chelsea’s leading neighbourhood restaurant on a grand scale.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled senior Senior Events Executive to join the team. You will contribute to the delivery of the D&D London sales strategy and must have excellent communication and rapport-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximise all revenue opportunities for events, up-selling as appropriate
• Ensure all enquiries are handled in accordance with agreed standards to maximize conversion
• Work to agreed targets and objectives for enquiries & bookings
• Use suggestive selling to influence the average spends
• Source, research and proactively contact new business prospects through the most appropriate channels
• Build long-term relationships with clients to secure repeat business
• Develop and maintain the agent, corporate, DMC and event organizer database
• Solicit feedback from clients by following up on each event to enhance the customer experience
• Implement and maintain high standards for all customers
• General administration support as required
• Attend and work on events at the restaurants and venues as requested

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proactive and enthusiastic, seeking opportunities to enhance the client experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Inbound telephone call handling experience
• Knowledge of restaurant and events industry
• Rational problem solver and ability to adjust to change
• Able to work under pressure
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
