Bluestone Lane, New York's premier coffee experience, is on the lookout for an energetic and experienced Coffee Educator (Head Barista) to join our growing D.C team!

Bluestone Lane is an Australian inspired, primarily New York based café and coffee brand (but fast expanding around the US!) that makes a difference to our Locals' daily ritual, every day. With a keen attention to detail, quality and service we are looking for the best in the business to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are a team player and have customer service experience then we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate:
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment - loves the buzz!
- Make locals feel appreciated and valued throughout interactions.
- Dial in and maintain consistent espresso extraction as per Bluestone Lane brew ratios
- Follow all Bluestone Lane drink recipes and procedures and complete in a timely manner
- Is reliable and hardworking - arrives on time ready to crush it
- Maintain an organized and hygienic working environment, clean routinely and restock as required
- Perform well under pressure and maintain efficient, friendly service

To be considered, you will possess
- Minimum two years' experience in crafting specialty espresso beverages using a manual machine
- Finessed latte art skills and an understanding of extraction
- People management and training experience
- Minimum two years' experience in a customer service environment and a passion to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system
