What we look for in a Junior Sous Chef:
We at The Boathouse are an events driven riverside establishment that focuses on seasonal pub food with a sophisticated twist and flair. As such, we're looking for someone with experience handling a variety of fresh and seasonal produce, meats and fish and who is not afraid to jump straight into an unknown recipe and give it a good go under direction.
Our Head Chef Jamie embodies the value "Everything on our menu should be made by us." This includes pies, desserts & pastry, wellingtons, sauces, breads etc. We take great pride in our ability to do this and understand the value this adds to our food offering and the business as a whole. Someone who shares our proud attitude towards their food will do very well with us.
We are looking for an existing Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie that wants to make the next step up, who has a passion and flair for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Junior Sous Chef you will:
