Requirement:
· High school diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a similar field
· Proven work experience in the Hospitality industry
· Familiarity with grilling equipment like an oven, skewers, and a chimney starter
· Knowledge of different grilling methods like direct heat grilling, smoking, and rotisserie grilling
· Ability to work for long periods and on public holidays
· Knowledge of food safety guidelines
· Good communication skills
· Demonstrating proper hygiene behavior
· Ability to offer excellent customer satisfaction
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensured food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
· Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
· Weighed, measured, and mixed ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
· Portioned, arranged, and garnished food, and served food to waiters or patrons.
· Substituted for or assisted other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
· Consulted with supervisory staff to plan menus, taking into consideration factors such as costs and special event needs..
