Description
Established 24 Hour Chelsea restaurant seeks full time, very good and experienced line cooks. Cafeteria has an excellent work environment and compensation.
The ideal candidate will:
- organized, clean and work well under pressure
- be dependable and highly driven professionals with high volume experience and verifiable references
- have excellent knife skills
- experience on multiple stations in the kitchen
- have knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation
- be able to lift 25 lbs or more
- preparing and executing key components of dishes
- ensuring quality of product and accuracy
- supporting other cooks
- receiving deliveries and rotating stock
- PLUS would include NYC food protection certificate and a positive attitude.
