Logistics Manager
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage a team of logistic associates responsible for issuing spare parts to the maintenance department, stocking games and arcade merchandise, photo booths, uniform inventory and more. Ensuring quality, timely delivery.
Supervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork.
Responsible for Inventory Control and Auditing; keep updated records of stock (plush, retail merchandise, arcade merchandise, uniforms, cleaning supplies etc.)
Create/develop SOP to manage warehouse, logistics, inventories and purchase orders. Compile appropriate paperwork for both park level and corporate office regarding all details of orders.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by keeping it clean and orderly. Implementing new design layouts to utilize warehouse spaces efficiently; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Reporting any incidents and conveying any issues to administration management.
Prepare monthly and year end closing reports regarding all inventory accounts with supporting schedules and reports verifying general ledger balances.
Compile requested materials and records from each department
Inventory planning and product ordering to maintain predefined minimum inventory levels
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Completes logistics and warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Research the Internet or catalogs to find suppliers. Interview prospective suppliers both face-to-face and over the phone to check prices, determine product quality, availability, delivery dates and terms of sale to determine the best pricing or bid among potential suppliers.
Arrange and follow up with vendors regarding shipments, invoices and corrections. Respond to customer and supplier inquiries.
Design detailed spreadsheets/lists with vendors’ contact information (i.e. telephone numbers, contact person, account numbers, etc.) with price comparisons about each prospective supplier. Keep vendor folders and history logs regarding historical orders.
Coordinate CAI assets and equipment maintenance and certification (vehicles, forklifts, Man lifts, etc.)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
Equivalent industry experience of 3 or more years is highly desirable.
Intermediate computer skills
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Intermediate project management skills, with the ability to manage several projects at the same time
Must have a valid and unexpired driver’s license
MUST have schedule flexibility to work approx. 45 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
