We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Expeditor to serve as the critical connection between our kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring flawless execution of every dish and timely service with the highest standards.

What You’ll Do:As an Expeditor at Caramá, you are responsible for the efficient flow of service from kitchen to table. You'll manage communication between chefs and servers, check that every dish meets presentation and timing standards, and ensure guest orders are delivered correctly and promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the pass and ensure all plates meet quality, portion, and presentation standards
Coordinate timing between kitchen stations and front-of-house teams to maintain service flow
Confirm ticket accuracy, including modifiers, course pacing, and special requests
Communicate clearly with line cooks, servers, and management to resolve timing or plating issues in real time
Maintain a clean, organized expo station throughout service
Assist with organizing to-go or VIP orders when necessary
Act as the final quality checkpoint before food reaches the guest
Support a high-energy, high-volume service environment with professionalism and poise
Uphold Wolfgang Puck’s hospitality and brand standards with every plate and every guest
1–2 years of experience as an expeditor or similar role in an upscale or fine dining kitchen
Strong communication and leadership skills
Meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency
Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Working knowledge of kitchen operations and ticket management
Ability to stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays
This position requires standing and walking for long periods, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and the stamina to move efficiently in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining focus and clarity under pressure.
