Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead daily operations and support the General Manager in executing service, team, and financial goals. This individual must be hands-on, guest-focused, and operationally strong—equally comfortable managing the floor and mentoring staff as they are driving backend systems and business metrics.
Fine dining and high-volume experience are both highly preferred. A background in Italian cuisine or concept is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Support all daily front-of-house operations with a focus on smooth, elevated guest service
Act as a leader on the floor during service, setting the tone for hospitality and professionalism
Train, coach, and develop FOH staff to maintain standards of service, timing, and guest engagement
Partner with the GM to achieve financial targets, labor goals, and service excellence
Assist with scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of all service areas
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture rooted in accountability and respect
Handle guest recovery with poise and professionalism when needed
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain flow, communication, and consistency between kitchen and dining room
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a high-end, high-volume restaurant
Strong understanding of fine dining service and guest expectations
Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a large front-of-house team
Professional, polished, and composed under pressure
Passion for hospitality and a deep sense of guest care
Experience with scheduling, POS systems, and daily restaurant administration
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of Italian cuisine or wine is a plus
