QA automation Engineer

The QA Automation Engineer role is focused on building automation test cases for web applications using Node JS based frameworks, alongside with testing Harri’s service/application from the user interface and the business logic of the software solution, also documenting test results to assist in debugging and modification of the software.

Qualifications:

1- Must be a Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
2- One to two years of experience in testing automated web applications using node js is a must.
3- Experience in Protractor test framework is a plus.
4- Adequate knowledge in cloud computing, AWS knowledge is a plus.
5- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL DB’s.
6- Ability to understand and create test scenarios from specifications.
7- Must have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and multi-task effectively, to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of focus, task-oriented, and team player.
10- A strong sense of respect for confidentiality involving both clients and fellow employees.

Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

1- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
2- Create, execute, and evaluate automated test cases and report test results.
3- Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
4- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues as needed.
5- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
6- Development of positive team relationships as requested.
7- Adhere to company and client policy, procedures and the professional code of ethics.
