Description

As a DevSecOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing DevOps and cloud solutions for various projects aligning security, compliance, performance, and resilience. You will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls for both application and cloud infrastructure.
With more security focus, you need to be able to perform the following:
1. Ensure infrastructure security, application security, and secure application development and implement Security as Code (SaC) deployments to provide 24/7 protection from malicious traffic, vulnerabilities, and other attack vectors
2. Implement observability and alerting on Security, application, and infrastructure metrics using SIEM.
3. Implement Rule Base access control (RBAC) to secure access and applications.
4. Implement and maintain cloud-based security using IDS/IPS, WAF, Firewalling …etc.
5. Provide mechanisms for security assessment and vulnerability scanning automatically and on-demand
6. Develop processes to support security and compliance requirements for security standards (e.g. SOC2, ISO27001 … etc.)
You will also be responsible to collaborate closely with our software development teams to develop the best approaches for deploying and maintaining applications in a cost-effective, repeatable, secure, scalable, and maintainable way.
