Position Description:
The QA engineer role is focused on testing the service/application and the business logic of the software solution and maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of the software.
Role and Responsibilities
Typical duties and responsibilities for a QA Engineer position may include but not limited to:
Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
Execute manual tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report software defects.
Work closely with developers to ensure the timely resolution of defects.
Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues as needed.
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Contribute to automated testing as prescribed by requirements set for you.
Development of positive team relationships as requested.
Continuously improve our QA processes and testing methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools and trends.
Knowledge sharing and culture building as we work in team structure, it is very essential to have the spirit of sharing the knowledge.
Keep aligned with HARRI’s team(s) coding and design standards.
Ability to communicate and work well with others.
Ability to deliver on time keeping a high quality of work.
To quickly become an expert in our tech stack, specifically the systems relating to your role. Requesting training when required.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
1+ years of experience in manual testing or related fields.
Experience with utilising and ideally writing automated tests
Experience with Git for version control.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity in working in Agile environments.
Familiarity in JIRA management tool, defect cycle, defect priority, and triage.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
