Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to prepare eLearning content that meets the needs of Harri clients.
  • Plan, design and develop engaging and effective eLearning modules.
  • Effectively use eLearning authoring tools, digital media tools, and/or other tools as needed.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate complex projects and timelines.
  • Publish, maintain and manage courses within the growing Harri Academy course library.
  • LMS administration, reporting, and analytics.

About the Job

The Instructional Designer will be a key member of the Harri Learning & Development organization. You will help to support Harri in growing the client experience by assisting with building our online eLearning / Learning Management System (Harri Academy). By helping to maintain this portal, you will ensure our clients can effectively use our products and continue to grow beyond their day-to-day tasks with Harri.

As part of the Instructional Design team, you will help build the continuous learning journey on all Harri products. You will own the creation of content, update content with new product enhancements and features, and collaborate with client-facing trainers on a weekly basis.

You will design and create effective and engaging learning environments, develop entire courses and curriculums, create training materials and more! These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, learning ecosystems, and/or relevant domains.
  • Experience working in a global training organization
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate and Camtasia is a plus.
  • Experience with Northpass Learning Management System (LMS) or other LMS is recommended but not required.
  • Experience simplifying complicated technical content and making it discernable for general audiences.
  • Ability to work in a rapid-development, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement

Qualifications: 2 levels

  • Instructional Designer
    • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 3+ years of experience and demonstrated success as an eLearning developer in a corporate setting.
    • Proficient with eLearning authoring tools.
  • Associate Instructional Designer
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 1-3 years of experience and demonstrated success as an eLearning developer in a corporate setting.
    • Experience with eLearning authoring tools.
