Our Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will be leading this charge.

 We believe that re-imaging compliance - as a strategic and tactical advantage, rather than an operational burden – can uniquely position Harri in the HCM SaaS market. This highly strategic approach to compliance as a product, a service, and an operational platform represents the full breadth of opportunity for our CCO


POSITION SUMMARY:

As CCO you will apply your considerable working knowledge of labor and employment laws to an array of functions both internally and externally. You’ll collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales and operational leadership to conceive, develop, maintain and ultimately deploy our compliance platform to an enormous end market. As leader of our compliance platform, you’ll be charged with building awareness of our substantial capabilities throughout the compliance ecosystem, acting as a thought leader across a range of forums and communities.

This opportunity is uniquely positioned within the spectrum of professional opportunities for qualified attorneys. It’s a vastly different and diversified day at the office than even the most exciting senior legal positions don’t offer. You’ll be directly responsible for - and incentivized by - the commercial outcomes that follow.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Our Chief Compliance Officer will drive results in the following areas:

Primary focus – Product Compliance governance

○Operational platform

○ Ensuring our software products comply with relevant compliance regulations across markets in which we operate – primary focus is the US, but this also includes the UK and other markets which will be added over time

○ Monitoring the regulatory landscape to capture, interpret and define our response to changing requirements

○ Strategic planning – ensuring we remain flexible and robust in our approach to fast-changing market requirements over time

○ Internal compliance support resource

○ Business development platform

○ Developing a strategy to ensure our compliance capabilities are front-of-mind for attorneys (both external and internal), HR practitioners, HR consultants and other compliance stakeholders

○ Engaging the market through communications, events, thought-leadership and other tactics to position Harri as the pre-eminent compliance solutions provider

Secondary focus

○ Corporate Governance Compliance

○ Working with internal and external resources to ensure our SOC II, ISO, GDPR and data security programs are operating at the highest standard

○ Legal desk – acting as a primary point of contact for legal matters until we have appointed in-house counsel

○ Executive sponsor and reporting line for our HR team (after 3 months + in the role)

 

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS:

●      8+ years of specific experience dealing with labor/employment law

●      High ethical standards

●      Analytical thinking and ability

●      Strong communication skills

●      Legal and moral integrity

●      Strategic thinking

●      Good command of English

●      Expert knowledge of the company and the relevant market

●      Management experience
