Who you are:

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Internal Applied AI Transformation Lead to lead our organization's efforts in integrating artificial intelligence into internal operations. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Operations, this role is pivotal in identifying opportunities for AI adoption, overseeing the development and implementation of AI solutions, and ensuring that these technologies align with our business objectives to enhance productivity and efficiency across all departments. You will be at the forefront of driving efficiency and productivity at Harri, working collaboratively with every team – from Product and Engineering to Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, and Implementation – to identify and implement impactful AI solutions. Your mission will be to understand existing pain points, evaluate the potential of AI tools to address them, and develop clear action plans for successful adoption, including training and performance measurement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement AI-driven transformation strategies that align with organizational goals. Oversee the execution of AI projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • AI Use Case Identification: Proactively engage with stakeholders across all departments to understand their workflows, challenges, and opportunities where AI can drive significant improvements in productivity and efficiency.
  • AI Solution Evaluation: Research, assess, and recommend appropriate AI tools and technologies to address identified pain points, considering factors such as feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and integration capabilities.
  • Implementation Planning: Create comprehensive project plans for the implementation of AI solutions, including timelines, resource allocation, training strategies, and communication plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • AI Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of AI processes. Address resistance and foster a positive attitude towards AI-driven change among employees.
  • Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs and resources to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively utilize new AI tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management: Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define AI objectives. Effectively communicate with and manage expectations of stakeholders across the organization, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. Communicate effectively across all levels to gain buy-in and facilitate understanding of AI initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track AI-driven KPIs to measure the success and impact of implemented AI solutions, regularly reporting on progress and identifying areas for optimization. Provide regular progress updates and performance reports to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with AI projects. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and setbacks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage AI project teams, driving collaboration and productivity. Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the AI transformation process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve business processes through AI. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous AI projects.
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in applied AI to identify new opportunities for innovation within Harri.


Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully implementing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with a range of AI tools and technologies, with the ability to understand their capabilities and limitations.
  • Solid technical aptitude, enabling you to understand the underlying technology of AI solutions and work effectively with technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on AI.
  • Excellent AI project management skills.
  • Proficiency in AI change management principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a strong drive to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Experience with AI data analysis and performance monitoring tools.


Bonus Points For:

  • Experience implementing AI solutions in a SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with the hospitality industry.


This role will be based in our NYC office with an expectation of 4 days per week in person. The salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000 USD, based on experience.
