CATCH LA is a globally influenced seafood-restaurant set in the West Hollywood design district. With its signature, open kitchen and breathtaking views of downtown Los Angeles & the Hollywood Hills, the 340 seats retractable rooftop haven invites the outside in as it blends great seafood with sushi and Asian influences and streaming, shareable style of service with a unique, open-air dining room and elevated, interactive atmosphere. With a focus on the food CATCH LA keeps it fresh, incorporating local and sustainable ingredients wherever possible as it cultivates a menu mix of Catch classics like the Catch Roll, Truffle Sashimi, Wagyu on a Rock and Cantonese Lobster with inspired renditions of Vegan and Gluten-Free additions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        The line cooks prepare all menu items during dinner service where the nightly focus is to learn and perfect technique, speed and consistency

·        Follow recipe and the portion control guidelines set by the restaurant

·        Set up stations with appropriate par levels for the shift and restock items

·        Organize, sanitize, and clean the kitchen, as well as the storage areas and coolers

·        Follow sanitary food handling procedures

·        Safely handle and operate food service equipment, including knives, pots and pans, ovens and grills, food processors and slicers

·        Have excellent culinary knowledge with 1-2 years of Back of the House experience in a high volume, fine dining restaurant

·        Are organized and proficient at multi-tasking

·        Have a polished and well-groomed appearance

·        Are a reliable, flexible team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations

·        Have strong verbal communication skills

·        Are committed to perfection and have a genuine passion for hospitality

·        Thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure

·        Have open availability to work days, nights and weekends
