People + Culture Coordinator

 

The People + Culture Coordinator is a key member of the People + Culture team responsible for providing People + Culture support in our enterprise for our Support Center Team Members. This individual will work directly with and assist the Sr. Director People + Culture to fulfill a variety of necessary People + Culture tasks, administering a variety of programs and procedures throughout the organization.  Additionally, this individual will help maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure Team Member satisfaction through fostering a positive work environment. This position will work closely with other People + Culture teams as well as with cross functional partners to accomplish their duties.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure Team Member inquiries are answered and/or properly routed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate regularly with Team Members and outside contacts to answer questions, provide information, complete paperwork, or another follow-up needed to complete request.
  • Ensure the office is well maintained, organized, and supplies are readily available for all Team Members.
  • Receive and process packages and mail to Team Members on a daily basis.
  • Advise Team Members on workspace reservations and conference room accommodations.
  • Manage All Hands Weeks on a quarterly basis to assist Team Members with travel, hotel accommodations, office tours, planned events for the week, and catering.
  • Manage requests for employee data, both internally and externally, to ensure timely and complete compliance of records.
  • Advise partners on interpretation and administration of policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Gather and prepare reporting and other People + Culture data needs both on established routines as well as ad-hoc.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of Team Member announcements and updates with internal cross-functional partners.
  • Work directly with and report to the Sr. Director, People + Culture regarding all People + Culture endeavors
  • Support People + Culture team in educating Team Members on and enforcing company policies.
  • Assist in the development, implementation of opportunities for continuous improvement with People +Culture programs and procedures.
  • Support any other special projects the People + Culture team needs assistance with
  • Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset.
  • Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly.
  • Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values.
  • Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day.
  • Actively contribute to your department to complete tasks and meet company goals.
  • Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in personal and organizational success of this business.

 

The Qualifications:

 

  • Associate degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field work
  • Knowledge of People + Culture processes and computer programs administrator and coordinator experience
  • Compliance with and adherence to relevant federal and state regulations, laws, legal codes, procedures, and other relevant regulatory standards
  •  Demonstrated ability to communicate/interact with all levels of Team Member both written and verbally.
  • Successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring the high level of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details.
  • Must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
