Location: Remote- Southern California Based

Brew Crew Opportunity

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® US is looking to find an individual to help take our foodservice coffee and tea business to the next level. They need to have an entrepreneurial mindset with extensive experience in dramatically growing new business with key accounts. This position will work remotely. The Manager, North will need to be based in the Los Angeles area. The Manager, South will need to be based in the greater Southern California area. Both positions will report directly to the Head of Sales, Beyond The Cafe.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for achieving business objectives to meet or exceed the company’s sales goals, achieve KPIs as outlined in the annual performance scorecards, and appropriately handle customer issues.
  • Territory:  Orange and Riverside Counties down to San Diego.
  • Drive growth through new customer acquisitions in the targeted channels focusing on Non-Commercial within Healthcare, College & University, Recreation, and Business & Industry. 
  • Collaborate with distributor and key account customers to build strong relationships, conduct sales meetings, and secure alignment to business plans (gain new customers, execute pricing actions, set up promotions, improve the overall relationship, etc)
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop key customer marketing plans and POS support elements.
  • Represent the company at customer events and trade shows.
  • Assist with inventory planning, promotional programs, pricing, and marketing audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning to deliver on business objectives

Your Ingredients

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience with leading brands across multiple foodservice channels (preferably in coffee/tea categories)
  • Location: Southern California
  • Relationship Management: Initiating and developing relationships with others; demonstrating credibility; confronting conflict quickly and professionally; inspiring confidence in others.
  • Initiative: Acting proactively; addressing issues or opportunities without supervision; focusing on desired results and accomplishments; demonstrating clear purpose; enthusiasm, and a “can-do” attitude
  • Negotiating with Customers: Presenting issues or ideas in a clear and influential manner; maintaining an open-minded and non-judgmental attitude; listening to others’ views and empathizing; effectively communicating and reaching an agreement with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and create action plans.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • B.A. degree preferred but not required.
