The position we are brewing:

The Inventory Control Coordinator position is accountable for overseeing the cycle count program of all raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels, item creation assigning new item SKUs and UPCs as required, and pricing maintenance. Maintains daily inventory movement and set-up new items within various platforms such as AX, Cadence, and NCR Aloha. Monitor and align inventories at the Roasting and Distribution facility, and other remote warehouse locations. Responsible for sales price and purchase cost maintenance, reviewing weekly Green Coffee reports, arranging recounts, and making adjustments to match inventory counts. Maintain accurate records, identify discrepancies, and address issues while regularly reviewing and confirming item details within seasonal promo roll-out guides. Responsible for leading the annual physical counts at the Roasting and Distribution facility and for monitoring annual cost at distribution warehouse in Los Angeles.

What you will Measure and Blend:

3rd Party Warehouse:

• Daily monitoring of 3PL Sales Order Interface from specific locations and addressing any errors that occur.
• Daily monitoring of warehouse-to-warehouse transfer interface Picking, shipping and invoicing orders for Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and Walmart.com within AX.
• Daily Cadence inventory adjustments from the prior day.

Cycle Count & Inventory Adjustments:

• Perform the cycle counts for a set number of items with all items within the warehouse being counted within a 2-month timeframe.
• Coordinating, conducting, and leading the Annual RAD year-end physical inventory count, along with other physical inventory counts at specified location(s).
• Managing inventory control of raw materials, making adjustments.

Green Coffee & Roasted (WIP) Coffee:

• Reviewing weekly Green Coffee usage and comparing Roaster’s count vs AX Inventory. WIP report i.e., providing feedback to production data entry coordinator on any discrepancy identified for corrections. Report variances and adjustments to Leadership Team on a weekly basis.

Item Set-Up & Validation:

• Assigning Item and UPC numbers, new product setup in AX, Resolve, and Aloha for both CBTL manufactured items and purchased products.
• Reviewing and confirming item details in season promo roll-out guides, including item number, unit of measure, pack size, and price.

• Sales price maintenance (ad-hoc) and purchase price maintenance including monthly dairy pricing updates.
• Communicating new products are set up correctly at DDC within the Cadence platform.

Other Duties:

• Generating various reports, including ad-hoc reports.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to the stated assigned duties.

Food Safety:

• Adhering to company Inventory Control Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and complying to company policies and safety standards.
• Reporting any food safety or food security concerns to the supervisor or manager.

Your Ingredients:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field and the equivalent or 3 to 5-years prior related experience
• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, analysis, accounting, and finance or relating to these industries within a manufacturing or similar environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills for planning project objectives and schedules
• Highly detailed-oriented to ensure projects meet all the business standards and goals
• Ability to coordinate across departments and strong collaboration abilities
• Advanced data analysis and data visualization skills
• Expert inventory control knowledge, with a deep understanding of supply chain management, and logistics including effective solutions for common obstacles
• Strong math skills, strong record-keeping, and client relations abilities
• Ability to multi-task effectively and handle a variety of tasks in a demanding environment
• Computer proficiency, excellent data entry accuracy, project management, adaptable, analytical, and solutions-oriented
• Goal-driven, determined, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
• Quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make strategic decisions to manage uncertainty in areas of customer service, project management, inventory control, logistics and cost management
• Computer-savvy with working knowledge of MRP/ERP software and other technology for inventory and Microsoft Office and performing digital administrative tasks.
