The Greenbank Hotel is searching for a Porter; the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities while providing exceptional customer service.

Job Role

As a Porter at The Greenbank Hotel, you will be a key member of the front-of-house team, helping to ensure smooth operations and an outstanding guest experience. We are seeking applicants who pride themselves on attention to detail, with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• You will be able to work confidently as part of a team and individually.
• You will have stamina and a positive outlook towards your role.
• You will be of hardworking nature and flexible with the hours and shifts you will work. This includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Key Skills

• GCSE Maths and English
• Portering experience preferred but not necessary
• Excellent personal presentation
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Communicate effectively with the team and guests, including listening to instructions
• Passion for guest service, ensuring no request is ignored
