Job Summary

The Guest Services & Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly within Chez Mia. This Manager must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable guest service that ensures the long-term engagement of employees, guests, and owners.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                             

  • Lead, direct, and manages daily reservations, VIP operations, and Maitre' D development and training. Maintain regular presence throughout the restaurant and at the front desk.
  • Participate in periodic department inventories; recommend appropriate actions based on results of inventory reporting.
  • Monitor operations to ensure a consistent sequence of service is followed and all brand standards are properly executed.
  • Ensure the proper handling, maintenance, storage, and security of all department equipment.
  • Create and develop goals and operational strategies that are aligned with the Boujis Group brand.
  • Analyze and identify financial opportunities including cost controls, productivity levels, and revenue generation.
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude and appearance.
  • Understands the policies and procedures of the organization and adhere to the company standards outlined in the company handbook.
  • Possess conversational knowledge of food and beverage items served at the establishment.
  • Participate in training sessions, departmental meetings or pre-shift meetings.
  • Ensures the well-being of all guests and co-workers by following the Company Safety Standards and maintaining compliance with the Department of Health and OSHAA.

Skills / Requirements

  • Previous hospitality management experience required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years work experience in fine dining.
  • RBS certification (Responsible Beverage Service)
  • Food Protection Manager card

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
  • Role may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
  • Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying shifts days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
